Take A=ZA = \mathbf{Z} and 3=pZ3 = p\mathbf{Z}, where pp is prime. (a) Show that, if qq is a prime number distinct from pp, the Z\mathbf{Z}-module Z/qZ\mathbf{Z}/q\mathbf{Z} satisfies property (ii) of Theorem 1, but not property (i). (b) Show that the Z\mathbf{Z}-module Q/Z\mathbf{Q}/\mathbf{Z} satisfies property (iv) of Theorem 1 but not property (ii).
