Commutative Algebra, VII, 572

Let kk be a field, BB the polynomial ring k[X,Y]k[X, Y] and AA the submodule k[X2,XY,Y2]k[X^2, XY, Y^2] of BB. (a) Show that AA is an integrally closed Noetherian domain and that BB is a finitely generated AA-module. (b) Show that the ideal p=AX2+AXYp = AX^2 + AXY of AA is a prime ideal of height 1 (and hence divisorial) but that the BB-module p⊗ABp \otimes_A B is a torsion module ≠0\neq 0 and hence not reflexive; the ideal pBpB of BB is not divisorial, the canonical mapping p⊗AB→pBp \otimes_A B \to pB is not injective and pp is not a flat AA-module.
