Let A,BA, B be two rings, EE a right AA-module, FF a left AA-module and GG a (B,A)(B, A)-bimodule. (a) Show that there exists one and only one Z\mathbf{Z}-linear mapping

η:E⊗AF→HomB(HomA(E,G),G⊗AF) \eta : E \otimes_A F \to \mathrm{Hom}_B(\mathrm{Hom}_A(E, G), G \otimes_A F)
which maps the tensor product x⊗yx \otimes y, where x∈Ex \in E and y∈Fy \in F, to the mapping vx,y:u↦u(x)⊗yv_{x, y} : u \mapsto u(x) \otimes y of HomA(E,G)\mathrm{Hom}_A(E, G) into G⊗AFG \otimes_A F. When B=AB = A and G=sAdG = {}_sA_d, the homomorphism reduces to the canonical homomorphism (15) (no. 2). (b) Show that if FF is a projective AA-module and EE and GG are such that for x≠0x \neq 0 in EE there exists u∈HomA(E,G)u \in \mathrm{Hom}_A(E, G) such that u(x)≠0u(x) \neq 0, then the homomorphism η\eta is injective.
