Let E be a free A-module of dimension n≥3n \geq 3. Show that if 1≤p≤n−11 \leq p \leq n - 1 the A-modules ⋀pE\bigwedge^p E and ⋀n−pE\bigwedge^{n-p} E are isomorphic; but if 2p≠n2p \neq n, there exists no isomorphism ϕ\phi of ⋀pE\bigwedge^p E onto ⋀n−pE\bigwedge^{n-p} E such that for every automorphism uu of E, ϕ∘(⋀pu)=(⋀n−pu)∘ϕ\phi \circ (\bigwedge^p u) = (\bigwedge^{n-p} u) \circ \phi (if (ei)(e_i) is a basis of E, consider the automorphism uu such that u(ei)=ei+ej,y(ek)=eku(e_i) = e_i + e_j, y(e_k) = e_k for k≠i,jk \neq i, j, and give i and j all possible values).
