Algebra, VIII, p. 445
Let A and B be -algebras; an -pseudobimodule is a set E endowed with the structure of a left pseudomodule over A and the structure of a right pseudomodule over B such that the underlying -module structures coincide. This corresponds to endowing E with the structure of a bimodule over the algebras and . A multiplier of E is a pair , where is a homomorphism of right B-pseudomodules and is a homomorphism of left A-pseudomodules, satisfying for . We denote by the set of multipliers of E; it admits a natural -module structure.
a) For every , we denote by (resp. ) the mapping (resp. ). Show that the pair is a multiplier of E.
b) For every (E), , and , set and . Prove that this defines on the -module the structure of a , B)-pseudobimodule and that the mapping is a homomorphism of , B)-pseudobimodules.
