Let $(E_i)_{i \in I}$ be a family of Hausdorff locally convex spaces, P the product space of the E_i, and S their topological direct sum. Show that for P or S to be semi-reflexive (resp. reflexive), it is necessary and sufficient that each E_i be semi-reflexive (resp. reflexive).
