Let E be a Hausdorff and quasi-complete locally convex space; for E to be semi-reflexive, it is necessary and sufficient that every closed vector subspace of E, in which there exists a countable everywhere dense subset, is semi-reflexive (cf. IV, p. 35, th. 1).
