Integration, IX, p. 110

Bourbaki marks this one as harder than the rest.

Let EE be a set, T\mathscr{T} a tribe of subsets of EE, and mm an abstract measure on (E,T)(E, \mathscr{T}). Suppose that m(E)m(E) is finite and that, for every B∈TB \in \mathscr{T} such that m(B)>0m(B) > 0, there exists a set A∈TA \in \mathscr{T} such that A⊂BA \subset B and 0<m(A)<m(B)0 < m(A) < m(B). For every B∈TB \in \mathscr{T} and every number tt such that 0≤t≤m(B)0 \leq t \leq m(B), there exists a set A∈TA \in \mathscr{T} such that m(A)=tm(A) = t and A⊂BA \subset B.
