Integration, V, p. 109

Let μ\mu be Lebesgue measure on R\mathbf{R}, I the interval [0,1][0,1] of R\mathbf{R}. If one sets θ(x)=∣x∣\theta(x) = |x|, θ\theta is proper for the measure φI⋅μ\varphi_I \cdot \mu and one has θ(φI⋅μ)=φI⋅μ\theta(\varphi_I \cdot \mu) = \varphi_I \cdot \mu. Give an example of a set negligible for φI⋅μ\varphi_I \cdot \mu, whose image under θ\theta is not measurable for φI⋅μ\varphi_I \cdot \mu (cf. Ch. IV, §4, Exer. 8).
