Exercise 1, § 8

Integration, V, p. 114

Let T, T' be two locally compact spaces, μ\mu a positive measure on T, μ′\mu' a positive measure on T'. Show that if the measure μ′\mu' is bounded, then the projection pr1\mathrm{pr}_1 of T×T′T \times T' onto T is a (μ⊗μ′)(\mu \otimes \mu')-proper mapping and pr1(μ⊗μ′)=a⋅μ\mathrm{pr}_1(\mu \otimes \mu') = a \cdot \mu, where a=μ′(T′)a = \mu'(T'). Deduce from this an example of a (μ⊗μ′)(\mu \otimes \mu')-negligible subset of T×T′T \times T' whose projection on T is not μ\mu-measurable.
