Integration, VI, p. 58

Let μ\mu be Lebesgue measure on T=[0,1]T = [0,1], FF a Hilbert space having a countable orthonormal basis (en)(e_n). Let ff be the mapping of TT into FF such that f(0)=0f(0) = 0 and f(t)=2nen/nf(t) = 2^n e_n / n on the interval ]2−n−1,2−n]]2^{-n-1}, 2^{-n}] (n≥0n \geq 0). Show that ff is μ\mu-measurable, scalarly μ\mu-integrable, and that ∫f dμ∈F\int f\,d\mu \in F, but that ∫∗∣f∣ dμ=+∞\int^* |f|\,d\mu = +\infty.
