Exercise 9, § 1

Integration, VI, p. 58

Let G,HG, H be two Hausdorff locally convex spaces, UU a mapping of TT into F=Ls(G;H)F = \mathscr{L}_s(G;H). Assume that GG is barreled, HH is quasi-complete, UU is μ\mu-measurable and U(K)U(K) is bounded for every compact subset KK of TT; assume, moreover, that for every continuous semi-norm qq on HH and every x∈Gx \in G, ∫∗q(U(t)⋅x) dμ(t)<+∞\int^* q(U(t)\cdot x)\,d\mu(t) < +\infty. Under these conditions, show that UU is scalarly essentially μ\mu-integrable and that ∫U(t) dμ(t)∈F\int U(t)\,d\mu(t) \in F (make use of Exercise 8 b)).
