Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, III, 384

Let ϕ\phi be the morphism of Z/2Z\mathbf{Z}/2\mathbf{Z} into the permutation group of C\mathbf{C} which maps the non-identity element to z↦zˉz \mapsto \bar{z}. Let GG be the semi-direct product of Z/2Z\mathbf{Z}/2\mathbf{Z} by the real Lie group C\mathbf{C} corresponding to ϕ\phi. It is a real Lie group with lie algebra R2\mathbf{R}^2. Show that there exists on GG no complex Lie group structure compatible with the real Lie group structure.
