Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, III, 391

Let G be a Lie group and ϕ:U→G\phi : U \to G an exponential mapping such that ZU⊂U\mathbf{Z}U \subset U and ϕ(rx)=ϕ(x)r\phi(rx) = \phi(x)^r for all x∈Ux \in U and all r∈Zr \in \mathbf{Z}. If p>0p > 0, ϕ\phi is an analytic isomorphism of U onto ϕ(U)\phi(U). (If ϕ(x)=ϕ(y)\phi(x) = \phi(y), then ϕ(pnx)=ϕ(pny)\phi(p^n x) = \phi(p^n y) for all n∈Nn \in \mathbf{N} and hence x=yx = y. Let W be an open neighbourhood of 0 in L(G) such that ϕ−1\phi^{-1} is analytic on ϕ(W)\phi(W). For all s∈ϕ(U)s \in \phi(U), there exist n∈Nn \in \mathbf{N} and a neighbourhood V of s in ϕ(U)\phi(U) such that t∈V⇒tpn∈ϕ(W)t \in V \Rightarrow t^{p^n} \in \phi(W).)
