Let X,X′X, X' be two topological spaces and f:X→X′f : X \to X' a mapping which is continuous at a point x0∈Xx_0 \in X. Show that if B\mathfrak{B} is any filter base on XX which has x0x_0 as a cluster point, then f(x0)f(x_0) is a cluster point of the filter base f(B)f(\mathfrak{B}) on X′X'.
