Algebra, VIII, p. 205, § 11. Grothendieck Groups

Let B be a simple ring and A a simple subring of B. Suppose that B is a finitely generated left A-module. Let M be a nonzero finitely generated left B-module. Set A′=A'= EndA(M)_A(M) and B′=B'= EndB(M)_B(M). Then B′B' is a subring of A′A', the rings A′A' and B′B' are simple, A′A' is a finitely generated left B′B'-module, and we have the equalities

i(A′,B′)=h(B,A),h(A′,B′)=i(B,A),[A′:B′]s=[B:A]s i(A',B') =h(B,A),h(A',B') =i(B,A),[A': B']_s= [B : A]_s

By Proposition 4 of VIII, p. 123, the ring A′A' is simple, M is an A′A'-module of finite length, and we have

longA(M)=_A(M) = long(A′'), longA′(M)=_{A'}(M) = long(A).

For the same reasons, the ring B′B' is simple, and we have

longB(M)=_B(M) = long(B′'), longB′(M)=_{B'}(M) = long(B).

By formulas (31) and (30), we therefore have

h(B,A)=h(B,A) = longA(M)/_A(M)/ longB(M)=_B(M) = long(A′')// long(B′') =i(A′,B′)=i(A',B');

the equality h(A′,B′)=i(B,A)h(A',B') =i(B,A) can be established analogously. From this, we deduce

[A′:B′]s=i(A′,B′)h(A′,B′)=h(B,A)i(B,A)=[B:A]s [A': B']_s=i(A',B')h(A',B') =h(B,A)i(B,A) = [B : A]_s

using formula (32). In particular, A′A' is a finitely generated left B′B'-module.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
