Algebra, VIII, p. 292, § 16. Other Descriptions of the Brauer Group

Let E be a subgroup of F stable under the action of G. Denote by F′F' the quotient of F by E, by v:F→F′v: F\rightarrow F' the canonical homomorphism, and by τ′:G→\tau ': G\rightarrow Aut(F′') the action of G on F′F' characterized by

τ′(g)⋅v(f)=v(τ(g)⋅f) \tau '(g)\cdot v(f) =v(\tau (g)\cdot f)

for g∈Gg\in G and f∈Ff\in F. Let E=(Γ,ι,π)\mathscr{E}= (\Gamma , \iota , \pi ) be a τ\tau-extension of G by F. Then ι(E)\iota (E) is a normal subgroup of Γ, and the τ′\tau '-extension v∗(E)v_*(\mathscr{E}) of G by F′F' is isomorphic to the extension (Γ/ι(E),ι,π)(\Gamma /\iota (E), \iota , \pi ), where ι‾\overline{\iota} and π‾\overline{\pi} are the group homomorphisms deduced from ι\iota and π\pi by passing to the quotients. By this isomorphism, the canonical homomorphism φ\varphi associated with v∗(E)v_*(\mathscr{E}) corresponds to the canonical homomorphism from Γ to Γ/ι(E)\Gamma /\iota (E).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
