Algebra, VIII, p. 317, § 16. Other Descriptions of the Brauer Group

Let E=(Γ,ι,π)\mathscr{E}= (\Gamma , \iota , \pi ) be a τ\tau-extension of G by L∗L^*. The algebra A[E;L]\mathbf{A}[\mathscr{E}; L] is central simple and of degree n2n^2 over K. Moreover, the canonical homomorphism uu from L to A[E;L]\mathbf{A}[\mathscr{E}; L] is an isomorphism from L to a maximal commutative subalgebra of A[E;L]\mathbf{A}[\mathscr{E}; L].

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
