Algebra, VIII, p. 399, § 21. Linear Representations of Finite Groups

Suppose that G is the product G′×G′′G' \times G'' of two groups. The K-linear mapping from K[G′]⊗KK[G′′]K[G'] \otimes_K K[G''] to K[G]K[G] that sends g′⊗g′′g' \otimes g'' to (g′,g′′)(g', g'') for g′∈G′g' \in G' and g′′∈G′′g'' \in G'' is an algebra isomorphism. Let (M′,π′)(M', \pi') be a linear representation of G′G' and (M′′,π′′)(M'', \pi'') a linear representation of G′′G''. The external tensor product of π′\pi' and π′′\pi'', denoted by π′⊗π′′\pi' \otimes \pi'', is the representation of G′×G′′G' \times G'' in the vector space M′⊗M′′M' \otimes M'' defined by (π′⊗π′′)(g′,g′′)=π′(g′)⊗π′′(g′′)(\pi' \otimes \pi'')(g', g'') = \pi'(g') \otimes \pi''(g'') for (g′,g′′)∈G′×G′′(g', g'') \in G' \times G''. If M′M' and M′′M'' are finite-dimensional free K-modules, then M′⊗KM′′M' \otimes_K M'' is a finite-dimensional free K-module and the character of the representation π′⊗π′′\pi' \otimes \pi'' is given by the formula

χπ′⊗π′′(g′,g′′)=χπ′(g′)χπ′′(g′′) \chi_{\pi' \otimes \pi''}(g', g'') = \chi_{\pi'}(g') \chi_{\pi''}(g'')
for g′∈G′g' \in G' and g′′∈G′′g'' \in G'' (Proposition 2 of III, §9, No. 2, p. 542).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
