Algebra, VIII, p. 414, § 21. Linear Representations of Finite Groups

Let nn be the cardinal of the group G, and let μn(K)\mu_n(K) be the group of nn-th roots of unity in K. For every g∈Gg\in G, we have gn=1g^n= 1; consequently, G^\widehat{G} can be identified with the group Hom(G,μn(K), \mu_n(K)). The group μn(K)\mu_n(K) is cyclic of order nn (V, §11, No. 2, p. 78, Theorem 1). The group G^\widehat{G} is therefore isomorphic to the group D(G) = Hom(G,Q/Z,\mathbf{Q}/\mathbf{Z}). By VII, §4, No. 9, p. 26, Proposition 10, the group G^\widehat{G} is isomorphic to the group G, and the mapping that sends an element gg of G to the homomorphism χ↦χ(g)\chi \mapsto \chi (g) from G^\widehat{G} to K∗K^* is an isomorphism from G to G^^\widehat{\widehat{G}}.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
