Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VII, § 2. Cartan subalgebras and regular elements of a Lie algebra

Let g\mathfrak{g} be a Lie algebra. A Cartan subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g} is a nilpotent subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g} equal to its own normalizer.

Later we shall obtain the following results:

1) if kk is infinite, g\mathfrak{g} has Cartan subalgebras (no. 3, Cor. 1 of Th. 1);

2) if kk is of characteristic zero, all Cartan subalgebras of g\mathfrak{g} have the same dimension (§3, no. 3, Th. 2);

3) if kk is algebraically closed and of characteristic 0, all Cartan subalgebras of g\mathfrak{g} are conjugate under the group of elementary automorphisms of g(\mathfrak{g}(§3, no. 2, Th. 1).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
