Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VII, § 4. Regular elements of a Lie group

Let V be an open subgroup of g\mathfrak{g} and let exp:V→G: V\rightarrow G be an exponential map defined on V.

(i) There exists a neighbourhood W of 0 in V such that g1\mathfrak{g}^1(exp xx) =g0(x)=\mathfrak{g}^0(x) for all x∈Wx\in W.

(ii) If k=Rk=\mathbf{R} or C,g1\mathbf{C},\mathfrak{g}^1(exp xx)⊃g0(x)\supset \mathfrak{g}^0(x) for all x∈gx\in \mathfrak{g}.

By Cor. 3 of Prop. 8 of Chap. III, §4, no. 4, there exists a neighbourhood V′V' of 0 in V such that, for all x∈V′x\in V', exp(ad(xx)) =∑n=0∞1n!=\sum_{n=0}^{\infty}\frac{1}{n!} ad(xx)n^n is defined and Ad(exp xx) == exp(ad(xx)). If P∈k[X]P\in k[X] and α∈\alpha \in End(g\mathfrak{g}), it is easy to check that gλ(α)⊂gP(λ)(P(α))\mathfrak{g}^{\lambda}(\alpha )\subset \mathfrak{g}^{P(\lambda)}(P(\alpha )) for all λ∈k\lambda \in k. Consequently,

g0\mathfrak{g}^0(ad(xx))⊂g1\subset \mathfrak{g}^1(exp(ad(xx))) =g1=\mathfrak{g}^1(Ad(exp xx)) =g1=\mathfrak{g}^1(exp xx)

for all x∈V′x\in V'. If k=Rk=\mathbf{R} or C,V=g\mathbf{C}, V =\mathfrak{g} and we can take V′V' = V, which proves (ii). We prove (i). Let U be a neighbourhood of 0 in End(g\mathfrak{g}) such that Log(1 +α+\alpha ) =∑n>0(−1)n‾n+11αn=\sum_{n>0}(-1)^{n+1 1}_{\overline{n}}\alpha^n is defined for all α∈U\alpha \in U. Then Log ∘\circ exp = 1 on a neighbourhood of 0 and g1(1+α)⊂g0\mathfrak{g}^1(1 +\alpha )\subset \mathfrak{g}^0(Log(1 +α+\alpha )) for all α∈U\alpha \in U. Let W be the neighbourhood of 0 in g\mathfrak{g} consisting of those x∈V′x\in V' such that exp ad x∈1+Ux\in 1 + U and

Log(exp(ad(xx))) == ad(xx).

Then, for all x∈Wx\in W,

g1\mathfrak{g}^1(exp xx) =g1=\mathfrak{g}^1(Ad(exp xx)) =g1=\mathfrak{g}^1(exp(ad(xx)))

⊂g0\subset \mathfrak{g}^0(Log(exp(ad(xx)))) =g0=\mathfrak{g}^0(ad(xx)) =g0(x)=\mathfrak{g}^0(x).

This shows that g1\mathfrak{g}^1(exp xx) =g0(x)=\mathfrak{g}^0(x) for all x∈Wx\in W.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
