Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VII, § 4. Regular elements of a Lie group

If k=Ck=\mathbf{C}, the subalgebras g1(a)\mathfrak{g}^1(a), for aa regular and belonging to a connected component M of G, are conjugate under Int(g\mathfrak{g}). Indeed, let R be the set of regular elements of G. For all a∈R∩Ma\in R\cap M, let MaM_a be the set of those b∈R∩Mb\in R\cap M such that g1(a)\mathfrak{g}^1(a) is conjugate to g1(a)\mathfrak{g}^1(a) under Int(g\mathfrak{g}). We have Int(g\mathfrak{g}) == Ad(G0^0), where G0G^0 is the identity component of G. By the Corollary to Prop. 5,Ma5, M_a is open in R. It follows that MaM_a is open and closed in R. Since k=C,R∩Mk=\mathbf{C}, R\cap M is connected (Lemma 1), hence Ma=R∩MM_a= R\cap M.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
