Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 4. Split semi-simple Lie algebra defined by a reduced root system

Let (g,h,B,(Xα)α∈B)(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{h},B,(X_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B}) be a framed semi-simple Lie algebra. Let (n(α,β))α,β∈B(n(\alpha , \beta ))_{\alpha ,\beta\in B} and (Xα)α∈B∪(−B)(X_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B\cup(-B)} be the corresponding Cartan matrix and generating family.

(i) The family ((Xα,Hα,X−α))α∈B((X_{\alpha}, H_{\alpha}, X_{-\alpha}))_{\alpha\in B} and the relations (16) to (22) of no. 3 constitute a presentation of g\mathfrak{g}.

(ii) The family (Xα)α∈B(X_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B} and the relations (21) of no. 3 constitute a presentation of the subalgebra of g\mathfrak{g} generated by (Xα)α∈B(X_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B}.

Let R be the root system of (g,h)(\mathfrak{g},\mathfrak{h}). Applying to R and B the constructions of nos. 2 and 3, we obtain objects that we shall denote by a′,g′,Xα′,Hα′,..\mathfrak{a}',\mathfrak{g}', X'_{\alpha}, H'_{\alpha}, . .. instead of a,g,Xα,Hα,..\mathfrak{a},\mathfrak{g}, X_{\alpha}, H_{\alpha}, . ...

There exists a homomorphism φ\varphi from the Lie algebra g′\mathfrak{g}' to the Lie algebra g\mathfrak{g} such that φ(Xα′)=Xα,φ(Hα′)=Hα,φ(X−α′)=X−α\varphi (X'_{\alpha}) =X_{\alpha},\varphi (H'_{\alpha}) =H_{\alpha},\varphi (X'_{-\alpha}) =X_{-\alpha} for all α∈B\alpha \in B (Prop. 1). Since dim g′\mathfrak{g}' = Card R + Card B = dimg,φ\mathfrak{g},\varphi is bijective. This proves (i).

The subalgebra of g′=a′/(n′⊕θ′n′)=(a+′⊕a′0⊕a−′)/(n′⊕θ′n′)\mathfrak{g}'=\mathfrak{a}'/(\mathfrak{n}'\oplus \theta '\mathfrak{n}') = (\mathfrak{a}'_+\oplus {\mathfrak{a}'}^0\oplus \mathfrak{a}'_-)/(\mathfrak{n}'\oplus \theta '\mathfrak{n}') generated by (Xα′)α∈B(X'_{\alpha})_{\alpha\in B} can be identified with a+′/n′\mathfrak{a}'_+/\mathfrak{n}'. In view of Prop. 3 and the definition of n′\mathfrak{n}', this proves (ii).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
