Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter VIII, § 7. Finite dimensional modules over a split semi-simple Lie algebra

The g\mathfrak{g}-modules E(λ)E(\lambda ) for λ∈P++\lambda \in P_{++} constitute a set of representatives of the classes of finite dimensional simple g\mathfrak{g}-modules.

The g\mathfrak{g}-modules E(λ)E(\lambda ), where λ\lambda is a fundamental weight, are called the fundamental g\mathfrak{g}-modules; the corresponding representations are called the fundamental representations of g\mathfrak{g}; they are absolutely irreducible (§6, no. 2, Prop. 3 (iv)).

If V is a finite dimensional g\mathfrak{g}-module and λ∈P++\lambda \in P_{++}, the isotypical component of V of type E(λ)E(\lambda ) is called the isotypical component of highest weight λ\lambda of V.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
