Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 1. Compact Lie algebras

If N satisfies the conditions of b) (iv), and if K1K_1 and K2K_2 are two maximal compact subgroups of G, there exists n∈n\in N such that nK1n−1=K2nK_1n^{-1}= K_2.

Indeed, by (ii) there exists an element g∈Gg\in G such that gK1g−1=K2gK_1g^{-1}= K_2; by (iv), there exists n∈Nn\in N and k∈K1k\in K_1 such that g=nkg=nk. The element nn then has the required properties.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
