Lie Groups and Lie Algebras, chapter IX, § 6. Integration on compact Lie groups

Let F be a Banach space, pp an integer ≥0,kΩp(X;F)\geq 0,^k\Omega^p(X; F) the space of differential forms of degree pp on X, with values in F, and of class Ck(2≤k+1≤r)C^k(2\leq k+ 1\leq r). For ω∈kΩp(X;F)\omega \in^k\Omega^p(X; F), put ω♯=∫Hτh∗ωdh\omega^{\sharp}=\int_H\tau_h^*\omega dh. Then the map ω→ω♯\omega \rightarrow \omega^{\sharp} is a projection on kΩp(X;F)^k\Omega^p(X; F) whose image is the subspace of H-invariant forms. We have d(ω♯)=(dω)♯d(\omega^{\sharp}) = (d\omega )^{\sharp} for all ω∈kΩp(X;F)\omega \in^k\Omega^p(X; F).

The first assertion follows from the proposition applied to the vector H-bundle Altp(T(X);F)^p(T(X); F) (Chap. III, §1, no. 8, Examples). To prove the second assertion, it suffices, in view of Integration, Chap. III, §3, no. 2, Prop. 2, to prove that the map d:kΩp(X;F)→k−1Ωp+1(X;F)d:^k\Omega^p(X; F)\rightarrow^{k-1}\Omega^{p+1}(X; F) is continuous when the first (resp. second) space is given the topology of compact CkC^k-convergence (resp. Ck−1C^{k-1}-convergence). But this follows immediately from the definition of these topologies by means of semi-norms (Spectral Theories, in preparation) and the fact that dd is a differential operator of order ≤1(\leq 1 (Differentiable and Analytic Manifolds, Results, 14.4.2).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
