Topologie algébrique, chapter I, § 5. Revêtements principaux

Let G and G′G' be topological groups and let φ:G→G′\varphi : G\rightarrow G' be a continuous open homomorphism. If the group G′G' is connected, the homomorphism φ\varphi is surjective. In fact, φ(G)\varphi (G) is an open, therefore closed, subgroup of G′G', and consequently equal to G′G'.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
