Topologie algébrique, chapter III, § 3. Groupoïde de Poincaré

Let X be a topological space and let C be an arcwise connected component of X. If xx and yy are points of C, the topological space Λx,y(C)\Lambda_{x,y}(C) is identified with the topological space Λx,y(X)\Lambda_{x,y}(X), so that the set ϖx,y(C)\varpi_{x,y}(C) is identified with the set ϖx,y(X)\varpi_{x,y}(X). Thus, the fundamental groupoid ϖ(C)\varpi (C) is identified with the full subgroupoid of ϖ(X)\varpi (X) having C as set of points. In particular, for every point xx of C, the group π1(C,x)\pi_1(C, x) is identified with the group π1(X,x)\pi_1(X, x).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
