Topologie algébrique, chapter III, § 5. Homotopie et revêtements (cas des espaces localement connexes par arcs)
Let B be a topological space locally connected by paths and suppose that every point of B possesses a neighbourhood V such that the image of in reduces to the identity element (cf. IV, p. 340, def. 2). Then every operation of the groupoid is without local monodromy.
In fact, let us consider a set E, a mapping and an operation of the groupoid on E relative to . Let be a point of B and let V be a neighbourhood of such that the image of in is reduced to the identity element. Let U be a path-connected neighbourhood of contained in V. Let be a point of U and let . Let be the class of a path joining to in U. Then is the class of a loop at in U; its image in is therefore trivial. Thus Id, whence Id. This proves that the operation of on the U-space is without monodromy. Consequently, the operation is without local monodromy.
Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
