Théories spectrales, chapter I, § 2. Algèbres normées

Let X1X_1 and X2X_2 be compact subsets of C\mathbf{C}. If X2X_2 is contained in X1X_1 and if the boundary of X1X_1 in C\mathbf{C} is contained in X2X_2, then X1X_1 is the union of X2X_2 and of certain bounded connected components of the complement of X2X_2 in C\mathbf{C}.

Let U be a connected component of C−X2\mathbf{C}-X_2. Every boundary point of X1∩UX_1\cap U in the open set U is also a boundary point of X1X_1 in C\mathbf{C}, hence belongs to X2X_2 by hypothesis; since U∩X2=∅U\cap X_2=\emptyset, one sees that X1∩UX_1\cap U has no boundary point in the space U. Since U is connected, the intersection X1∩UX_1\cap U is either empty or equal to U (TG, I, p. 82, cor.), and the lemma results.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
