Théories spectrales, chapter III, § 1. Applications linéaires compactes

Let E be a semi-normed space and S\mathfrak{S} a set of precompact subsets of E whose union is dense in E. Let us denote by Eb′E'_b the strong dual of E and by ES′E'_{\mathfrak{S}} the dual of E endowed with the S\mathfrak{S}-topology. The space ES′E'_{\mathfrak{S}} is separated and the identical mapping of Eb′E'_b into ES′E'_{\mathfrak{S}} is compact.

The space ES′E'_{\mathfrak{S}} is separated according to TG, X, p. 8, prop. 7; on the unit ball of E′E', the S\mathfrak{S}-topology coincides with the weak topology σ(E′,E)\sigma (E',E) (EVT, III, p. 17, prop. 5), whence the corollary.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
