Théories spectrales, chapter III, § 5. Perturbation par une application linéaire compacte

Let E be a separated locally convex space, uu a Riesz endomorphism of E and h∈L(E)h\in \mathscr{L}(E) a compact linear mapping. If uu and hh commute, then u+hu+h is a Riesz endomorphism of E.

Let vv be the canonical quasi-inverse of uu. It commutes with uu and with h(h(III, p. 47, prop. 6), hence with u+hu+h. The endomorphism 1E−(u+h)∘v1_E-(u+h)\circ v of E is the sum of the continuous linear mapping of finite rank 1E−u∘v1_E-u\circ v and the compact linear mapping −h∘v-h\circ v, hence is compact. It follows that u+hu+h is a Riesz endomorphism of E (corollary 1).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
