Théories spectrales, chapter III, § 5. Perturbation par une application linéaire compacte

Let X be a topological space whose topology possesses a countable basis. Every discrete subset of X is countable.

Let B\mathscr{B} be a countable basis of the topology of X and let D be a discrete subset of X. For each element xx of D, there exists an element BxB_x of B\mathscr{B} such that Bx∩D={x}B_x\cap D =\{x\}. The mapping from D into B\mathscr{B} defined by x↦Bxx\mapsto B_x is injective, whence the lemma.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
