Théories spectrales, chapter IV, § 3. Distributions et distributions tempérées

Let (φm)m∈N(\varphi_m)_{m\in\mathbf{N}} be a bounded sequence in S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n). For every function φ∈S(Rn)\varphi \in \mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n), the following assertions are equivalent:

a) The sequence (φm)(\varphi_m) converges to φ\varphi in S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n);

b) The sequence (φm)(\varphi_m) converges to φ\varphi in C∞(Rn)\mathscr{C}^{\infty}(\mathbf{R}^n).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
