Théories spectrales, chapter IV, § 3. Distributions et distributions tempérées

The restriction to S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n) of the Fourier transform is an automorphism of topological vector spaces whose inverse is the restriction of the cotransform of Fourier.

Let φ∈S(Rn)\varphi \in \mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n). By the preceding lemma, the Fourier transform of φ\varphi belong to C∞(Rn)\mathscr{C}^{\infty}(\mathbf{R}^n). Moreover, for α∈Nn\alpha \in \mathbf{N}^n and β∈Nn\beta \in \mathbf{N}^n, one has

Xβ∂α(F(φ))=(−2iπ)∣α∣XβF(Xαφ) X^{\beta}\partial^{\alpha}(\mathscr{F}(\varphi )) = (-2i\pi )^{|\alpha|}X^{\beta}\mathscr{F}(X^{\alpha}\varphi )
=(−1)∣α∣(2iπ)∣α∣−∣β∣F(∂β(Xαφ)) = (-1)^{|\alpha|}(2i\pi )^{|\alpha|-|\beta|}\mathscr{F}(\partial^{\beta}(X^{\alpha}\varphi ))

In particular, the function Xβ∂α(F(φ))X^{\beta}\partial^{\alpha}(\mathscr{F}(\varphi )) is bounded. Since α\alpha and β\beta are arbitrary in Nn\mathbf{N}^n, this means that F(φ)\mathscr{F}(\varphi ) belongs to S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n). Moreover, this calculation implies

qα,β(F(φ))⩽(2π)∣α∣−∣β∣∥∂β(Xαφ)∥1 q_{\alpha ,\beta}(\mathscr{F}(\varphi ))\leqslant (2\pi )^{|\alpha|-|\beta|}\|\partial^{\beta}(X^{\alpha}\varphi )\|_1

for (α,β)∈Nn×Nn(\alpha , \beta )\in \mathbf{N}^n\times \mathbf{N}^n and φ∈S(Rn)\varphi \in \mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n).

Since the inclusion of the space S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n) in L1(Rn)L^1(\mathbf{R}^n) is continuous (prop. 13 of IV, p. 213), the mapping qα,β∘Fq_{\alpha ,\beta}\circ \mathscr{F} from S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n) into R\mathbf{R} is continuous. It follows that the Fourier transform is continuous from the space S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n) into itself (cf. EVT, II, p. 7, prop. 5, c)). One verifies analogously that the Fourier cotransform is continuous from the space S(Rn)\mathscr{S}(\mathbf{R}^n) into itself. By the fourier inversion formula (theorem 3 of II, p. 222), the Fourier transform and the Fourier cotransform are reciprocal isomorphisms of one another.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
