Théories spectrales, chapter IV, § 4. Opérateurs partiels

Let E and F be topological vector spaces over K (EVT, I, p. 1, def. 1). Let u∈P(E;F)u\in \mathscr{P}(E; F) be a partial operator from E into F.

One says that uu is an operator with dense domain if the domain of uu is dense in E.

One says that uu is closed if the graph of uu is closed in the topological vector space E×FE\times F. One says that uu is closable if it possesses a closed extension.

Let E, F and G be topological vector spaces over K. Every extension of an operator u∈P(E;F)u\in \mathscr{P}(E; F) with dense domain has dense domain. Moreover, if v∈L(E;F)v\in \mathscr{L}(E; F), then u+vu+v is an operator with dense domain. If v:F→Gv: F\rightarrow G (resp. w:G→Ew: G\rightarrow E) is an isomorphism of topological vector spaces, then v∘uv\circ u (resp u∘wu\circ w) is an operator with dense domain.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
