Théories spectrales, chapter IV, § 5. Opérateurs partiels normaux et théorème spectral

Let qq be a closed positive partial form and q′q' a continuous positive Hermitian form on E. The positive Hermitian form defined on dom(qq) by (x,y)↦q(x,y)+q′(x,y)(x, y)\mapsto q(x, y) +q'(x, y) is a closed positive partial Hermitian form with the same domain as qq. It is denoted by q+q′q+q'.

By EVT, V, p. 16, Cor. 2, there exists a unique linear mapping u′∈L(E)u'\in \mathscr{L}(E) such that q′(x,y)=⟨x∣u′(y)⟩q'(x, y) =\langle x|u'(y)\rangle for every (x,y)∈E×E(x, y)\in E\times E. The endomorphism u′u' is positive and the partial operator representing the closed positive partial Hermitian form q+q′q+q' is u+u′u+u'.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
