Théories spectrales, chapter IV, § 5. Opérateurs partiels normaux et théorème spectral

Let uu be a partial operator on E. A partial operator vv on E is said to be bounded relatively to uu if dom(uu)⊂\subset dom(vv) and if vv defines, by passage to the subspace, a continuous linear mapping of EuE_u into E.

Let uu be a partial operator on E. Let vv be a partial operator bounded relatively to uu. There exists a real number mm such that

∥v(x)∥⩽m(∥x∥+∥u(x)∥) \|v(x)\|\leqslant m(\|x\|+\|u(x)\|)

for all x∈x\in dom(uu). The greatest lower bound of the real numbers a⩾0a\geqslant 0 such that there exists a real number bb such that

∥v(x)∥⩽a∥u(x)∥+b∥x∥ \|v(x)\|\leqslant a\|u(x)\|+b\|x\|

is called the relative norm of vv with respect to uu, and is denoted by ∥v∥u\|v\|_u,

for every x∈x\in dom(uu). The relative norm of vv is therefore less than or equal to the norm of the restriction of vv to the space EuE_u.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
