Théories spectrales, chapter V, § 1. Représentations unitaires
Let and be continuous linear representations of G in separated topological K-vector spaces. Suppose that is irreducible. Every nonzero G-morphism from into is injective, and every nonzero G-morphism from into has dense image.
In particular, if and are irreducible and finite-dimensional, then every nonzero G-morphism from into is an isomorphism.
Since the space of is separated, the kernel of a G-morphism from into is closed, and gives rise to a subrepresentation of . If the morphism is nonzero, its kernel must therefore be reduced to 0, since is an irreducible representation in a separated topological vector space. Similarly, the closure of the image of a nonzero G-morphism from into is a nonzero subrepresentation of , and is therefore equal to the space of .
The last assertion follows from the preceding.
Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
