Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 3. Correspondences

Let A, B be sets, let ff be a mapping of A into B, and let gg be a mapping of B into A. If g∘fg \circ f is the identity mapping of A and if f∘gf \circ g is the identity mapping of B, then ff and gg are bijective, and g=f−1g = \overset{-1}{f}.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
