Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 5. Product of a family of sets

Let (Xι)ι∈I(X_\iota)_{\iota \in I}, (Yι)ι∈I(Y_\iota)_{\iota \in I}, (Zι)ι∈I(Z_\iota)_{\iota \in I} be three families of sets and let (gι)ι∈I(g_\iota)_{\iota \in I}, (gι′)ι∈I(g'_\iota)_{\iota \in I} be two families of functions, all having the same index set, such that gιg_\iota is a mapping of XιX_\iota into YιY_\iota and gι′g'_\iota a mapping of YιY_\iota into ZιZ_\iota, for each ι∈I\iota \in I. Let gg and g′g' be the extensions of the families (gι)ι∈I(g_\iota)_{\iota \in I} and (gι′)ι∈I(g'_\iota)_{\iota \in I} to products. Then the extension of the family (gι′∘gι)ι∈I(g'_\iota \circ g_\iota)_{\iota \in I} to products is equal to g′∘gg' \circ g.

This follows immediately from Definition 2.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
