Theory of Sets, chapter III, § 6. Infinite sets

The product of a finite family (ai)i∈I(\mathfrak{a}_i)_{i \in \mathrm{I}} of non-zero cardinals, of which the greatest is an infinite cardinal a\mathfrak{a}, is equal to a\mathfrak{a}.

Let b\mathfrak{b} denote the product and let nn be the number of elements in I. Then b⩽an=a\mathfrak{b} \leqslant \mathfrak{a}^n = \mathfrak{a} (§ 3, no. 6, Proposition 14). On the other hand, since ai⩾1\mathfrak{a}_i \geqslant 1 for all i∈Ii \in \mathrm{I}, we have b⩾a\mathfrak{b} \geqslant \mathfrak{a} (§ 3, no. 6, Proposition 14).

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
