Theory of Sets, chapter II, § 3. Correspondences

Precisely, G⟨X⟩G\langle X \rangle denotes the set Ey((∃x)(x∈X and (x,y)∈G))\mathscr{E}_y((\exists x)(x \in X \text{ and } (x,y) \in G)). From now on we shall not usually translate our definitions into formal language.

Bourbaki sets the proof directly after the statement, and the corpus does not separate them, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
