Commutative Algebra, chapter I, § 3. Faithfully flat modules

Let BB be a ring and AA a subring of BB such that BB is a faithfully flat right AA-*module. Let* FF be a left AA-*module, F′,F′′F', F'' two submodules of FF. Then: (i) The canonical mapping B⊗AF′→B⊗AFB \otimes_A F' \to B \otimes_A F is an isomorphism of B⊗AF′B \otimes_A F' onto BF′BF'. (ii) F∩BF′=F′F \cap BF' = F'. (iii) B(F′+F′′)=BF′+BF′′B(F' + F'') = BF' + BF''. (iv) B(F′∩F′′)=BF′∩BF′′B(F' \cap F'') = BF' \cap BF''.

As BB is a flat right AA-module, the canonical mapping

B⊗AF′→B⊗AF B \otimes_A F' \to B \otimes_A F
is injective; taking account of the identifications made, its image is BF′BF', which proves (i). Assertion (ii) follows from § 2, no. 6, Proposition 7, applied with E=BE = B, E′=AE' = A, and using the formulae A⊗AF=FA \otimes_A F = F and A⊗AF′=F′A \otimes_A F' = F'. Assertion (iii) is trivial and (iv) follows from § 2, no. 6, Proposition 6.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
