Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 4. Spectra of rings and supports of modules

Let UU be an open subset of a topological space XX. The mapping V↦V‾V \mapsto \overline{V} (closure in XX) is a bijection of the set & irreducible subsets of UU which are closed in UU onto the set & irreducible subsets & XX which are closed in XX and meet UU; the inverse bijection is Z↦Z∩UZ \mapsto Z \cap U. In particular, this bijection maps the set & irreducible components & UU onto the set & irreducible components & XX which meet UU.

If VV is closed in UU and irreducible, V‾\overline{V} is irreducible (Proposition 2) and V=V‾∩UV = \overline{V} \cap U. Conversely, if ZZ is irreducible and closed in XX and meets UU, Z∩UZ \cap U is a non-empty open subset of ZZ, hence irreducible (Proposition 3) and dense in ZZ and, as ZZ is closed, Z=Z‾∩UZ = \overline{Z} \cap U. This proves the proposition.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
