Commutative Algebra, chapter II, § 4. Spectra of rings and supports of modules

(i) Every subspace of a Noetherian space is Noetherian. (ii) Let (Ai)i∈I(A_i)_{i \in I} be a finite covering of a topological space XX. If the subspaces AiA_i of XX are Noetherian, XX is Noetherian.

(i) Let XX be a Noetherian space, AA a subspace of XX and (Fi)(F_i) a decreasing sequence of subsets of AA which are closed in AA; then Fi=Fn‾∩AF_i = \overline{F_n} \cap A and the closures Fn‾\overline{F_n} of the FiF_i in XX form a decreasing sequence of closed subsets of XX. As this sequence is stationary, so is the sequence (Fi)(F_i).

(ii) Let (Gn)n≥0(G_n)_{n \geq 0} be a decreasing sequence of closed subsets of XX; by hypothesis, each of the sequences (Gn∩Ai)n≥0(G_n \cap A_i)_{n \geq 0} is stationary. As II is finite, there is an integer n0n_0 such that, for n≥n0n \geq n_0, Gn∩Ai=Gn0∩AiG_n \cap A_i = G_{n_0} \cap A_i, for all i∈Ii \in I. But

Gn=⋃i∈I(Gn∩Ai) G_n = \bigcup_{i \in I} (G_n \cap A_i)
and hence the sequence (Gn)(G_n) is stationary and XX is Noetherian.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
