Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 1. Finitely generated graded algebras

Let m=⨁i≥1Aim = \bigoplus_{i \geq 1} A_i; let (p(k))1≤k≤s(p^{(k)})_{1 \leq k \leq s} be a finite family of graded prime ideals of AA and a graded ideal a⊂A\mathfrak{a} \subset A such that a∩m⊄p(k)\mathfrak{a} \cap m \not\subset p^{(k)} for all kk; then there exists a homogeneous element z∈a∩mz \in \mathfrak{a} \cap m not belonging to any of the p(k)p^{(k)}.

We argue by induction on nn, the proposition being trivial for n=1n = 1. If there exists an index jj such that a∩m∩p(j)\mathfrak{a} \cap m \cap p^{(j)} is contained in one of the p(k)p^{(k)} of index k≠jk \neq j, it follows from the induction hypothesis that there is a homogeneous element z′∈a∩mz' \in \mathfrak{a} \cap m not belonging to any of the p(k)p^{(k)} for k≠jk \neq j and therefore not belonging to p(j)p^{(j)} either and this element solves the problem. Suppose then that for every index jj, a∩m∩p(j)\mathfrak{a} \cap m \cap p^{(j)} is not contained in any of the p(k)p^{(k)} of index k≠jk \neq j; the induction hypothesis therefore implies the existence of a homogeneous element yj∈a∩m∩Sjy_j \in \mathfrak{a} \cap m \cap S_j belonging to none of the SjS_j for k#jk \# j; as the yjy_j are all of degrees ≥1\geq 1, we may assume by replacing them by suitable powers (since the p(k)p^{(k)} are prime) that y1y_1 and ∏j=2nyj\prod_{j=2}^n y_j are of the same degree. Then z=y1+∏j=2nyjz = y_1 + \prod_{j=2}^n y_j is homogeneous of degree ≥1\geq 1 and the same argument as in Chapter II, § 1, no. 1, Proposition 2 shows that zz solves the problem.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
