Commutative Algebra, chapter III, § 2. General results on filtered rings and modules

Let A be a filtered ring and (An)n∈Z(A_n)_{n \in \mathbf{Z}} its filtration; let us set B=⋃n∈ZAnB = \bigcup_{n \in \mathbf{Z}} A_n, n=⋂n∈ZAnn = \bigcap_{n \in \mathbf{Z}} A_n. If the ring gr(A)\mathrm{gr}(A) has no divisors of zero, neither has the ring B/nB/n. If a and b are elements of B not belonging to n, then v(a)≠+∞v(a) \neq +\infty and v(b)≠+∞v(b) \neq +\infty, whence v(ab)≠+∞v(ab) \neq +\infty and therefore ab∉nab \notin n.

Note that the ring A can be an integral domain and the filtration (A_n) exhaustive and separated without gr(A)\mathrm{gr}(A) being an integral domain (Exercise 2).

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
