Commutative Algebra, chapter V, § 1. Notion of an integral element

Let AA be a ring and AA and RR two (commutative)A-algebras. If RR is integral over AA, R⊗AA′R \otimes_A A' is integral over A′A'.

Consider any element x′=∑i=1nxi⊗ai′x' = \sum_{i=1}^n x_i \otimes a'_i of R⊗AA′R \otimes_A A', where the xix_i belong to RR and the ai′a'_i to A′A'; as xi⊗ai′=(xi⊗1)ai′x_i \otimes a'_i = (x_i \otimes 1)a'_i and the xi⊗1x_i \otimes 1 are integral over A′A' (Proposition 2), so is xx.

Bourbaki puts the proof directly after the statement, so what is above is the statement and its proof together.
